PRIVACY POLICY — FANG FANG RESTAURANTS INC

Effective date: 8 August 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the FANG FANG RESTAURANTS INC Android application (the “App”) handles information. The App is provided for users in Pakistan and is designed as an offline-first, guest-access restaurant menu and local cash-order planning experience.

2. Information the App Does Not Collect or Transmit

The App is built to operate without user account registration, cloud logins, or remote server analytics. The App does not collect, track, or transmit personal identity data to external servers.

3. Information the App Stores Locally

The App may store the following information only on the Android device through local app preferences:

  • selected city;
  • favourite menu item identifiers;
  • cart quantities;
  • recently viewed menu items;
  • typed delivery addresses and address labels;
  • locally created order details, including order items, totals, order type, status, customer name, Pakistani mobile number and optional order note;
  • in-app notification read states; and
  • display and app preference settings.

4. User-Submitted Information

When a user creates a local cash order, the entered name, mobile number, address or pickup selection, and optional note are saved with that order on the device. In this version of the App, these order details are not transmitted by the App to a restaurant server because no live ordering backend is integrated.

The Contact Support feature validates an email address, subject and message locally, then opens a mailto action in an email application selected by the user. The FANG FANG App does not itself send that message. If the user chooses to send the email, the selected email application and email provider process the message according to their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Information the App Does Not Collect Through Device Permissions

The App does not request dangerous Android runtime permissions and does not request access to:

• precise or approximate device location
• camera
• photos, gallery or media storage
• files or external storage
• microphone
• contacts
• phone state or call logs
• SMS
• calendar
• Bluetooth or nearby devices
• biometric data
• Android notification permission

The App also does not create user accounts or use advertising identifiers.

6. Location and Addresses

The App uses manual city selection and typed delivery addresses. It does not use GPS or request location permission. Any saved address remains in the App’s local storage on the device unless the user deletes it or clears App data.

7. Payments

The App does not process online payments and does not collect card, bank, wallet or cryptocurrency information. Delivery is labelled Cash on Delivery and pickup is labelled Pay at Restaurant (cash).

8. Local Data Storage

App data is stored in Android SharedPreferences within the App’s private storage. Android application backup is disabled in the manifest for this build. The App is designed so its core menu, images and ordering workflow can function without a restaurant backend.

9. Internet Access and Third-Party Services

The App manifest does not request the Android INTERNET permission. Core menu images are bundled with the application rather than fetched from remote servers at runtime. No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, mapping, payment or social-sign-in SDK is included in this build.

The only external handoff is user-initiated Contact Support through a standard mailto intent. Once the user leaves the App and chooses an email application, that external application is responsible for its own processing.

10. Image and Content Sources

Food images used in the App are bundled with the project. Their source and licence information is documented in IMAGE_CREDITS.txt included with the project. Images were selected for food-focused presentation and do not intentionally contain female subjects.

11. Data Sharing and Sale

The App itself does not sell locally stored App data. This build does not transmit local cart, favourites, addresses or order history to FANG FANG RESTAURANTS INC or to a third-party backend.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on the device until one or more of the following occurs:

  • the user removes individual cart, favourite or saved-address entries;
  • the user changes or replaces locally stored records;
  • the user uses “Clear Local App Data” in Settings;
  • the user clears the App’s storage through Android settings; or
  • the user uninstalls the App.

The in-app clear-data action removes cart contents, favourites, orders, saved addresses, read states and preferences while preserving the completed onboarding flag.

13. Security

Keeping core data on the device reduces network exposure, but no storage method can be guaranteed absolutely secure. Users should protect their devices and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in delivery addresses, support messages or order notes.

14. Children’s Privacy

The App is a general restaurant menu and ordering utility. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because this build does not transmit user information to a live App backend, FANG FANG RESTAURANTS INC does not receive local App records through the App.

15. User Choices

Users can browse without an account, remove favourites, edit the cart, delete saved addresses, mark in-app messages as read, cancel eligible locally stored orders, change preferences, or clear local App data.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy should be reviewed and updated whenever the App’s implementation changes, especially if a future release adds a restaurant backend, online ordering transmission, analytics, advertising, accounts, cloud storage or new permissions.
